About Me
- The Creator/Destroyer
- I am an artist living and working in Lancaster, PA, with my family. The Obsessive Dollhouse is a lengthy investigation into how the home can serve as a surrogate body, a creative haven and as an isolating and insulating space to keep us from feeling other's suffering. This is a self renovation blog. Through construction/ renovation and destruction, through natural and unnatural forces, this blog will document the process. In the end what will be left?

Tornado
Wind. Rain. Holes in the roof, torn off as if by a giant with a jigsaw. The porch roof is gone. And the new addition smashed 20 feet away.

Mold Remediation
It started with a cough and burning around the eyes. The dehumidifier was not enough. Could smell it in the living room the most and only when I left the house and came home. After all that water. Fearing the worst, I encased it all in plastic and donned a hazmet suit. It could be anything growing in there. Not sure what to do about the exposed skin. Ripped out the living room floor. Hoping the house can be saved.

After the Flood
The line of scum is evidence. How can everything above remain untouched? No one can live here. The floor, I laid, in the living room is warped and buckled. What do I do now?
